Born into a musical family, I started out on the piano at 3 or 4. Since then I’ve tried everything from singing in a symphony chorus and musical theatre as a child to writing and recording an album of alt rock in my teens. I found my love for improvisation in a jamband in my early 20s and ever since 2017, I’ve been gigging and writing as a live, improvised electronic solo act under the alias “Engeo.”

I believe it is this lifelong exploration of different musical styles that gives me a unique voice as a composer.

My love for video games began at a young age, too. I’ll never forget the quaint melodies of Pokémon Ruby that enchanted me as a child, sweeping me away on a fantastical heroe’s tale. More recently in my life, I was surprised to find that the soundtracks to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 swept me away in that same magical way. There’s something incredible about the way good music can draw you so deeply into a story.

As a composer, I aspire to write music that adds another level of depth to a story, helping to form an immersive world, whether it be through washes of textures or rich emotional harmonies.
